Hello, This is Ujjwal here...So happy to Guest design today at TheCraftshop.  I am bringing you some fresh inspiration and ideas using the mini stamps from the April release. April release has some gorgeous stamp sets but my favorite undoubtedly, are the mini stamps. They are beautiful and versatile and such great value for money.

For the first card I used the very beautiful "Special day" mini stamp, stamped it with Black Archival Ink four times on Fabriano Card Stock, colored the images using watercolors and then fussy cut. I, then arranged the fussy cut images to form a wreath and stamped the sentiment in the center. I love the simplicity and dimension that I was able to achieve in this card.

For the second card, I used another beautiful mini stamp called "Rose love". I always struggle with solid stamps but I was very clear about what I wanted to do with this one. I stamped the flowers using different shades of distress inks and then went over the stamped images with my waterbrush to create the watercolor effect. I did a video using the same technique a while back and you can check it here.
The sentiment is from another newly released set called "Farewell" and it has some wonderful sentiments to go on the cards.

I saved my favorite for the last. For this card, I used the awesome "Hibiscus" stamp set and attempted no-line watercoloring and even though it's no where near perfect, I absolutely enjoyed the process of coloring the whole panel with watercolors. I also added some splatters in black and then added the sentiment from the "Farewell" stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed the post today and will share your take on the stamps soon. Mudra stamps are now available at out favorite craft store -, where you can shop for some amazing craft supplies and the service is impeccable.
